Writer's Block

I'm currently in the process of applying for fellowship. But unfortunately, I have not been able to start my 'Personal Statement' yet. What's in a personal statement? Those 2 words says it all...in other words self-explanatory. In 100 words or less, the personal statement must make a statement about yourself. It should set you apart from the hundreds if not thousands of applicants vying for the post. Does it mean that there's nothing interesting about my life? Or is it the trying to make my life sound interesting is what makes it hard for me to come up with this personal statement. In less than 10 minutes, I did this entry...so why the hell can't I even put a single sentence to start my personal statement. Is this Writer's Block...I hope not.
